Well, the guy on steve hoffman bought a few tour posters apparently. So maybe just Shows Of A Lost World merch? Not sure which merch triggered the mail shot. I would have expected to see more people posting images of the cards if it was any merch
i just read a post at this site you are talking about and a New Member of it nicknamed LunarMoon with location London

Not sure that the user who got the card has read it yet, maybe the card shines or has got another msg. upon?Me sayin' foolish things as usual but you never know...
I don't think that's foolish at all. Hopeful maybe. But certainly not foolish.
Not many people have black lights to hand. I doubt there's anything other than what's visible though.
FWIW I received a postcard promoting FROGS by Nick Cave earlier this year. Not every fan did. I suspect a few get posted out in the knowledge that it will get the hype going on social media. Which it has.
Probably this. It's quite a genius way of promoting without having to spend a mountain of money on promotion
Has anybody seen the title of the new Tears For Fears album, SONGS FOR A NERVOUS PLANET .... and they are playing on 1 11 24, The Cure are promoting Tears For Fears!
Just read these 2 comments on a hmmm -cough- Morrissey board :
"Reeves has made a post about it on social media and Eden Gallup has posted lyrics to the song Alone. Looks like it’s happening!" & "Eden Gallup and Reeves have made hints on their respective accounts. The official website change is the real turning point."
Anyone can confirm ?
As a coda : it will be hard for me to play any instruments until it's released (fingers crossed !)

In that case, they will be on eBay for £00!!
I was thinking about the evilbay thing. Even looked & didn't see anything yet. The folks who did get the cards are obviously fans or they wouldn't have bought stuff from the web store. If I got one I'd certainly keep it & probably tuck it inside the sleeve of the album for safe keeping.

So it seems real, if I get one, and it's highly unlikely as I think I only bought Wish from the official store, but if I do I shall donate it to somebody ... .. .
From a WhatsApp contact. I mentioned earlier in the thread that it looked sort of home made so how legitimate it is remains in question. Although it was two weeks ago and the release date was correct at least.
