July 7th Hyde Park London Live Report

Reading through this thread makes me feel so happy! We get to share these shows across vast distances, time zones, dimensions

I didn’t go into this show with any expectations other than a show of sing alongside and crowd dancing, so my night was filled with joy. The boys sounded so fantastic, and I’m still amazed every time at that voice! Ok ok, maybe if I could change the set a little I would switch out free songs (erm, you guess which three ) and would’ve put in the Hanging Garden, Charlotte Sometimes, and This Twilight Garden. The boys have them in their rehearsal repertoire, would’ve rounded out the night just a tad more for me, and I know the audience would’ve gone absolutely mad!!

The day was pretty tough those for those of us who were there the entire day. I didn’t realize how exhausted I was until the next day. And having to sit on a hot hot hot bus because the southern rail is still jacked up didn’t help! But I loved the show. So glad I went. Even happier to see some beautiful TCC faces, especially @ninja, lioness, and gigbuddy75. xoxo ladies!!

And you all here. Pipperoo and steve, what would we do without you? Won’t think about it! And all of you. I think I could hear your “voices” and excitement next to me while I watched the show

I think this is 'a thing' now - I think it happened at the Hammersmith Christmas gig I went to in 2014.  I like it

(not liking the burned centre parting, obviously - echoing how oppressive it was out there on Saturday)

Boooooooooooooooooring! 

Of the incredibly amazing endless array of songs they have, isn't there a better option than this one? What really means 'Burn' on their 40 years career? Nothing for me.

Vocal melody is highly unimaginative. Not to mention the 467 times he repeats that chorus line. 4 times would be enough.

It's not even on the same league.
