What kind of tarantulla du you have? I have a grammostola pulchra - she is black, shiny and beautiful. She is almost blue-ish after a molt Then I have a grammostola rosea - she is not as beautiful.
Used to have plenty: bohemian, baumgardian, nhandu cromatus, and some more, but they seemed to be all males, and therefore they die young.

Hello Ninja,
Thank you
Brachypelma Smithi or Mexican Red Knee tarantula she is beautiful and awesome, her name is Morticia.
Speaking of names your member name is the name of one of my cats Ninja is a my black and white tabby and Jezebel we just cal her Jez is my Himalayan cat although I love all my pets Jez and I have a special bond she was a rescue and I am certain she was a abused by her previous owner. It took me nearly six months to win over her trust and help her to become the happy cat she is today. She turned out to be an amazing cat great personality and she follows me around the house. They are all spoiled rotten.
Aside from speaking out on depression I am a big advocate for animal rights.
Your tarantula sounds beautiful, can we post pictures here? I would take a pic of my animal family.

One thing I thought I would share with everybody it is sort of the weirdness of Silicon Valley basically Silicon Valley is not just Palo Alto or Cupertino it is pretty much the entire southern pennisula of San Francisco from San Mateo all the way down to San Jose. The tech companies are all over the place. Take San Jose for example it is pretty much a city all its own, it looks like it was designed in the 1960's and the inferstructure seriously needs to be updated, roads public transit and sometimes just buildings themselves, it is quite common to see an old architecturally designed 1960's building right next to a round global shaped sphere building made out of glass (curious as to how that will hold up in an earthquake). On Winchester Blvd in San Jose named after the Winchester rifle family and the famous house sits on that street you will probably laugh when you actually see the house of more than 120 haunted rooms because it looks like a two bedroom cottage from the street because it is dwarfed by the massive shopping center across the street from it. Go south on Winchester and you will come across the massive Netflix building and complex but hidden among the trees are about 8 more Netflix buildings. Go off Winchester one mile and you will see what looks like a college campus but its Ebay bigger than most college campuses. Apple is the size of a small city. Rumor has it that Google wanted to buy NASA's air strip and complex next to SFO and make it their personal and private airport so that should give you an idea of the kind of money Google has. NASA didn't go for it. To summarize Silicon Valley looks like an old run down city being bought up and modernized by the tech companies but the city developers and planning engineers can't keep up with the massive expansion of the tech companies.
