There's always a media storm, but more so this year as it was a lot less political in terms of the voting than it has ever been before.
That's probably a good thing in some respects although the commentators usually had a field day with it. Especially Wogan. He was the master.
Another thing to remember is that this is coming amidst Brexit shenanigans & so the UK press are probably more vocal about it than other nations.
