I have watched the previous seasons on PBS. It is a guilty pleasure. I'm kind of ashamed, because it makes me feel like a 90-year-old woman with 40 cats. I am only 80 and have one cat.
Would that make you a catlady ... in-training?
Paul Hollywood is a tool.
Well someone has to tell the cold, hard truth. He does come off as a know-it-all but he seems far less brutal to me than Simon Cowell was on American Idol.
I'll guess the two you were referring to are Sue Perkins (left) and Mel Giedroyc (right).
So they won't be on the show, going forward? Nooooooo!!!!
Paul Hollywood cheated on his wife with some Food Network lady. He's smarmy. Then, there's this. Well, hey, if they're happy...
And yes, there was a big, to-do with Sue and Mel leaving the show when it left the BBC. I hadn't known they were friends before reading this, but I love them. Save
Hey @notkristie , I didn't know anything about Paul's personal life. I agree, bumpin' uglies with someone else before one makes a clean and complete break from their spouse is smarmy.
I can't imagine that show without Sue and Mel. When Edd China left Wheeler Dealers, the show suffered badly. Ant is okay but he isn't Edd and never will be.
How are they eaten? Is it knife and fork like a pancake or do you pick them up with your fingers like a biscuit (no wait, that has a different meaning on the other side of the pond) croissant?

Pick 'em up with your fingers & munch. Like a slice of toast. But better
I actually do some of the challenges with my kids when the show airs here. I do like it with Noel and Sandy too, but miss Mary Berry.
I'm in the states so I only see what PBS airs. They don't have an agreement with Channel 4 so they haven't shown the latest season. Mary Berry is gone too? That seems so wrong.
I came here for the tv talk, stayed for the crumpet discussion
One of the new hosts is Noel Fielding. I like him a lot, but he’s just okay in this gig from the few episodes I’ve seen.
Yeah, I created a bit of a tangent there, didn't I? I just might have to try making these. I guess the tradition is Tea and Crumpets? I wonder if Ale and Crumpets might work. Or does that seem too weird?
