Probably not a popular band here but I like them..
Anyway, Lindsey Buckingham is out again so thats the end of that power struggle (again!)
I love all versions of the Mac. Peter Green, Bob Welsh, and the Lindsay /Stevie version. I think they are all restless. I mean if they didn't all sleep with each other.... Haha but they truly are phenomenal when they are all together.
Yep, I think they've had a different line-up each time I've seen them! Shame it's come to this though, I thought this next big tour was supposed to be a lap of honour before retirement. Now they've got one of Stevie's mates from Tom Petty's band and Neil Finn onboard and no Lindsey. Last year, they were forced to record under a different name because Stevie Nicks didn't want to record - they're not brave enough to fire her though!
i had this up in read about it yesterday. i really like lindsey buckingham. that being said, i like neil finn even more. hopefully this will get him a little more recognition. he's an amazing singer & songwriter & no slouch on guitar. mike campbell is unreal. this could be very interesting. i'm in. i've followed neil finn since split enz days & mike campbell even longer.
Did he play on "Never Going Back Again"? Love that one.
definitely
Classic
Recorded the last show I saw and had to drop in some bits from another night cos of noise etc.
Anyway, when you listen to 2 nights back to back then it's obvious what a tight band they are, even now, despite the fact they're completely incapable of playing the same way every night - especially Mick!
Difficult to see how Fleetwood and Nicks can justify this, the timeframes make it look so pre-meditated. Even if the tour makes the UK, I don't think I'm up for it
I'm baffled as to why Buckingham serviced the media before the band. In addition, he did seemingly cave in to requests he postpone his solo project just to fit in with FM's plans.
i'm still looking forward to the FM show next month. i would've went to lindsey's solo show but he didn't play here & i wasn't up for driving to portland for it.
