Mmm. Voted for by people who thought the world ended in 1989?
Another list in a sea of lists & I agree that Bloodflowers should be way higher placed than it is.
for me Bloodflowers has held up real well. actually it seems to get better with age. pretty high up on my favorite Cure records list. for sentimental reasons, Disintegration still tops but not for the singles especially. I do like Fascination Street because it rocks. the big ones on that record for me are Prayers, Disintegration, Homesick, Untitled.

My appreciation of Bloodflowers is changing over time, I'm definitely playing it more often - it has the added advantage of still being quite fresh for me too cos I ignored it for years!
THOTD at #3 surprises me, as I never hear it get that much love, even on here.
It;s got those massive floor-filler singles which will always make a difference in a poll, it's a reálly solid album though - a couple of weaker tracks but many more timeless wonders

It's a bit of a dark horse innit? & it doesn't get nearly enough love. It's quite extraordinary except for SDW & Screw, which could have been better off being left out completely.

Same for me. It still lacks something I think & comes over so much fuller live, but it has some really intricate keyboard work on it which I think is some of Roger's best work. I appreciate it a whole lot more these days & cannot get my head around just how mind blowing Watching Me Fall is.
Oddly no I haven't But I daresay no one person has agreed with any of them. That's the thing about these lists. There's always that "list fails without...." hovering over them isn't there?

Not to mention that, for me at least, my list would probably change if I had to make it again week on week.
You've probably posted it before (or maybe there's a thread here) and I know I won't agree to some extent, but what would your studio album list look like?

It would differ week to week. Maybe even day to day, but Seventeen Seconds would always be top of it
