And I'm still thinking about backpacks and still don't know if they're allowed. I can't imagine going there without one.
emmafleur, does it mean that the primary entry tix indicates the one of the entrances you have to take? Is it impossible to pick one?
Be careful lioness. I've found twice in my life if a place does not allow back packs they won't let you in and there will be no place to put it and what will you do? Better find out before. Xo

The guidance from the Event Info isn’t exactly clear, imo...no ‘large rucksacks/bags’...nothing ‘bigger than a canvas shopping bag / overarm bag’. It’s not as if their examples have a standard size.
I’m taking a tiny bag to be on the safe side. I did see that all vendors will take contactless payment, so at least you can leave purse etc at home and pay for anything with a card/Apple Pay etc.

Pipperoo , that's the point, to find out before. And as gigbuddy75 wrote the guidance isn't clear at all. Can't they just give allowed dimensions as they do in airlines? It would be much easier for everyone. I can't leave my purse at home as my home will be 1300 km far from there My hotel doesn't look very trustworthy either. It's a cheap place which unfortunately doesn't get good opinions from the guests. Besides, I have primary entry so if I want to try to have a wristband for the area in front of the stage I would spend there all day and it's really a lot of time to stand with a card in my pocket only. The other thing is that I have no idea what is printed on my ticket as I have to collect it from the box office. I was surprised that two entrances for primary entry are shown on the map.
And all of that plus some other things botter me. Just some worries before the trip.
I suppose there's always the option of 'left luggage' facilities at stations, but I haven't looked into how close any of these are, nor how expensive.
I see what you mean, lioness. If you're headed straight for the front, I guess you won't have time to buy food/drink once you're past security - I was thinking you could bring a fabric bag you can fold down, and fill it with whatever you buy within the park - but that's not going to work if you're going to go for the barrier-dash.
Not terribly helpful, but I've just measured a random canvas shopping bag (work motivation is pitiful today, I'm afraid)...it's 40cm (H) x 30cm (W) x 12cm (D). Reckon you could get a decent picnic in there.

Yeah, they're not very responsive are they? They like to blow their own horn, but when it comes to customer service, not the best. I have tried poking the bear though
FWIW I think multiple bottles should be OK if you don't take the piss - the text on the site does use 'bottles' plural.
The on site Box Office is almost midway between South and West entrances, both are an easy stroll for Primary tickets.
Anyone know the answer for presale event shirts? Ordered one with tickets, have a confirmation mail but have never provided any size or delivery information to them and haven't been given any kind of redemption code for the online store :/
Also, it's going to 30C this Saturday which is going to be a nightmare for early entry!
