I don´t live in the US at all, but in Germany, but would you like to take part in a survey I am doing on the Cure and their fans? It´s for a school project. I´m a die-heart fan myself and want to find out what exactly makes us fans, what the typical Cure fan is like and what we love most about The Cure. We have all heard the cliché of the "beautiful and clever" (Robert) "outsider" who is "no good in games"  (Simon), right? But I´m not exactly putting my trust in that! I want to ask as many people as possible about the best band in the universe, and maybe even make some friends or pen pals because they like the exact kind of music that I like (which is mostly the darker side, A Strange Day, The Reasons Why, Open...) 

I will probably close this suvey by the end of winter, in late February. Take your time, no need to hurry. Enjoy yourself answering! I would be so glad if this worked out! If you´re interested, just answer the questions that you feel like answering.

Alright , alright , giving in. ;-) From now on, I will always try to think of includinge the THE whenever I am on this forum. However much I want to leave out the article. But do you really always say, "The Cure fans"? I guess I´m too lazy to do this...
Are you always logged in? You seem always active. Or are we just usualy logging in at about the same time?

Wait, you prefer Disintegration to Porn? I´m broken-hearted now... Well, just kidding, I love Disintegration, too. But ever since I got Pornography two years ago, I´ve listened to it at least once every single day. I also did listen to Disintegration everday for a while, but then gave up on that. School till 5 PM on Monday. Pornography -> I wake up again! I relax, study and do my homework...  Disintegration -> I am actually so relaxed I will fall asleep the next moment... I even listened to Pornography before I went off to see The Cure in Munich.
Do you have certain kittens in mind?

They look very proud, don´t they? Not that I know a lot about them--I just googled some photos. I think you´ll spend a lot of hours brushing and combing that fur while listening to Robert Smith singing about how he was gonna throw cats in bags and douse those bags, toss them into the sea...  Hm, why did Robert finally change that opening line to "we move like cagey tigers/ Oh we couldn´t get closer than this..." in the end? Or maybe it´s just one of his pranks and he never actually intended to sing about suffocating cats!
The first slide to my LibreOffice presentation for another pres in school actually says "WARNING! Do not trust anything I am saying in this presentaion, my only source were these 350 interviews with Robert and Lol´s Cured.
