leslie it is just a picture posting app. I was against it for a really long time but then gave into the darkness in the springtime.
Funny enough, when I had met Lol at his book signing I had mentioned that we talked a bit on Instagram (kinda letting him put a face with a name) and when I tried to go into my direct messages I couldn't find them... I sat there staring at my phone saying "I don't know how it works!" He probably thinks I am off my trees.
I've worked in IT for 25 years and I'm still yet to see why we need Instagram (i.e. what problem does it solve that other "things" don't already do?)
I am on twitter (and not a heavy user of that either) and every now and again someone tweets something, which has actually come from their Instagram. So frustrating!
In reality, most people can only really use 3 or 4 things regulary, so a lot of fad apps will die out over time. The problem I have with Twitter is that it's 24x7. I don't really see how you can review what you've missed (overnight for example). At least Facebook has a kind of "unread messages" feature, although that works sporadically. I personally hope Twitter dies at some point and is replaced by something more flexible.

I hope most of them die soon... however Twitter will never die (at least not in the next 4 years) because it is the only way the president-elect can talk to America and call us all losers for not voting for him...
I tried twitter, I really did. I just couldn't get into it. What I don't get is why or how people have multiple social platforms and links everything together. Why not just have one if you are sharing the same content on everything?

Exactly. Everything consolidates in the end. Companies, technologies, friends etc. There's only so many things 1 person can handle regularly.
