It was a bit of a gamble holding Afcon players this week. Some were allowed to stay on & some not. I'm also reading that the Cameroon national team is getting a bit scratchy about a couple of its players who have said they don't want to go & they might impose some sort of sanctions if they refuse.

Neither player (including Matip of Liverpool) got called up in the end. So I think the issue goes away

Employing Allardyce was a mistake, the FA are yet to investigate him fully in his "I cheat the transfer rules" video shocker. The Met still have all the evidence, what'll Palace do if Allardyce is banned? Should be banned anyway.
And this is a stupid game! I advise everyone to recruit Giroud then don't myself, then pick a team for the wrong bloody week. PAH!
