Anyone dizzy yet?
Another lightning fast turnaround for GW20 & let’s have a looky at what GW19 brought us.
A calamitous bit of teamwork between Marshall & Mbokani gifted Everton an equaliser before Snodders put the tigers ahead once again. But it was Snodders who stood & watched Baines skip past him to cross for the equaliser.
The Swans, having got shot of their new manager, continued ship points on their journey to the Championship with Sunderland hot on their heels after a 4-1 drubbing at Burnley.
Southampton threw away an early lead in a match where van Dijk was able to nick off early to get to the pub before it got totally rammed & a bit of a crazy one was had at the Bridge where Chelski held off a Stoke team who looked full of confidence.
Leicester actually managed to win a match against West Ham & ManUre had to come from behind to silence the Boro roar.
Last game of the year saw Klopp & Pep meet for the first time since….the last time & it was the reds who held a single goal lead to hold onto 2nd place. & here’s a photo of John Stones standing firm.
Opening 2017, the Hornets hosted Spuds & appeared to be still hungover from new year’s eve as they were roundly thrashed 1-4.
At a soggy Emirates Tony Adams dressed up for the occasion & it was Ollie to open the scoring with a Mkhitaryan special. Except this one was onside.
A second from Iwobbly sealed Palace’s fate, but they hold on to 16th place
But who cares about all that? It’s the FPL that matters
& in a turn up for the book, the BB&S nicked the win by 4 points . The IGM still head the table by 8 though so it’s still very close.
The Yellow Jersey returns to Scotland as Nikolas Vitus Lagartija ’s Damage Dunfermline retake the top spot with the Big Shout Out going towards Potters Bar as paulwUK ’s Satan Orient whipped up an impressive 85 points.
The H2H saw a draw between EIB & BB&S on 18 a piece which shaves down the gap between IGM & EIB to just 2 points. But the remains with Planet Dave’s Toluca Lake United
So, in a flash, we’re back in the shed. Well, we didn’t actually leave it after new year’s eve as we slept off the night before the night before….err…. & we ….err..got locked in somehow.
But thankfully @buehughes’ mum was on hand to come & break us out.
The pitch here at the Stadium of Faith is looking a bit frosty this morning, but we’ll go & inspect it in a bit with a very sharp stick.
So it’s pedal to the metal for the last in this round of quick fire fixtures before a welcome break to let our snowflakes play their FA cup matches
