Out of topic (as usual) but ... So encore Three for those European Dates is full of a 'greatest hits (singles)' The same (almost) also goes for the second encore, unless they do the 'rock' one. By the way does 'wrong number' counts as a rock hit single or a pop one ?
wow, this looks like an awesome setlist. thanks to all for reports. apologies for the sporadic participation. lot of work & real life issues intruding. i believe the wembley shows (at least 2 of them) are at a time where i'm going to be laid up. looking forward to them, not the laid up part. best to all.
Back home good gig last night. I should say the band played well as well as Robert's voice that was not that bad. I do not like the arena (I was there years ago for another concert) however I should admit sound quality was good and loud enough, at least from where I was. Definetely better than some of the Italian's gig I have attended this year. My 2016 tour has came to an end
Nice evening indeed, Ok, i'm not going to speak about all the things that were great, to make it short i was watching The Cure live in concert! I found it nice but strange to have the three first tracks from Disintegration. I was ike, we're not in '89, it's not the Prayer Tour is it? When Robert had some troubles singing a night like this i thought, well, he has problems with his voice indeed, he wouldn't sing prayers for raiiiiiiin again... And what happens later in the set? They play it! Then a few surprising tracks, it was great (also cool not to hear wrong number). Trouble is, on the other hand we didn't get any of the two new songs! What a let down! What is 'bad wolf' written on Simon's amp? Also there was some kind of metalic structure above it, what is it? Am i the only to think before three was weird, as if everyone played the track in a different tune from each other. Finally, what's the point of having these five big spaces behind the stage when they are only used 5-6 times to do projections during the whole show? Strange...
