Wow! 2 weeks flew past in a flash & we’re back to business as usual…. once we’ve all finished swearing loudly at the news of injuries from international duty.
& it’s all change at the top of the premiership where GW11 saw Citeh, Arsenal & Spurs all drop points to allow Liverpool to slot into the number 1 spot after a thorough drubbing of Watford.
Moyes can hold fire on clearing his desk (for another week at least) after his first win of the season, while Moaninho’s touchline ban spurred Untidy on to their first win in 5 where the second most transferred out striker of the week netted 2.
Palace’s comedy goalkeeping/ defending let Burnley snatch a late winner & the return of Snodgrass was just what Hull needed against the Saints.
Back in London, Chelski basically destroyed Everton in the first half, but West Ham were denied by a 75th minute Stoke equaliser.
Lastly, last year’s champions continue their domestic woes as England international, Drinkwater, decided the game needed one more goal which he rather obligingly set up. For West Brom.
But back in the real world….
The EIB took a 10 point win for the week in the classic, while the IGM piled on the pressure in the H2H, extending their lead to 42 points overall.
Nikolas Vitus Lagartija ’s Damage Dunfermline tighten their iron grip on both the Yellow Jersey & the H2H crown, while the Big Shout Out went to The Roker Roar, who were already doing cartwheels after the Sunderland win
In the shed we were pleased not have have the most expensive pies in Europe according to the Price Of Football Survey 2016 but disappointed there is no category for sausage rolls or curry.
Weather at the Stadium of Faith has turned chilly, so bring your thermals this week & we’ll knock up some jacket potatoes to keep your hands warm
Welcome everyone to your GW12 thread
