watching trump's victory speech. i'm in shock....

i avoided watching the news until about 10:00 pacific time. just stunned. my theory that the real father of the usa is pt barnum (there's a sucker born every minute) comes true. its like there's been a mass brain washing. living overseas you've missed a lot of the constant barrage. we're at the point where everything is about the military & has to be connected to the military. i have absolutely nothing against the people who serve, its the military/industrial complex. I see it every day where i work. i'm probably going to start the process to get out first of the year. Eisenhower warned about it in the 1950s. Sadly, it was prophetic. historically, when that happens its the end of the empire. the british, greeks, romans et al have all proven it. tough times coming, the stock markets are already crashing. time to hang on...

We democrats tried our best. But my non-American friends must see something. It was incredibly close, 58,795,710 for Trump and 58,773,157 for Hillary. Seriously, THAT is how close it was but the electoral votes nailed it for that maniac and of course Florida, Ohio and sadly my own state Pennsylvania (which is a swing state) effed us in the end. Because all three of those states were BLUE states when Obama won. Now they are red. On behalf of intelligent Americans I am sorry.

Yes, of course, the country didn't went totally crazy. Maybe Clinton was not your best shot to fight against this guy.
