After yesterday’s iCure shuffle show in Oslo, our fantastic five head South to Göteborg.
& it’s quite an appropriate city as it’s actually named after the Goths, the inhabitants of…wait for it…Gothia. In fact Göteborg in English is translated as Gothenburg, or Gothia Fortress (it’s true, google it
)
Could this bode well for those of us who yearn for a darker edge to the band? Or will they flatly deny the goth tag & just …well..be The Cure. My money’s on the latter
rosered , figurehead82 . & Sofie are in attendance this evening & I’m sure you’ll join with us in wishing them a wonderful time.
As usual, we’ll be scouring social media for scopes, pictures & other bits & bobs as we try to bring live updates & as ever, we’re counting on you excellent folks to chime in with your usual chat, input with the occasional air guitar solo
As The Cure mixed it up last night, I think we’ll mix the colours tonight too. With the Goth connection, black would have been fun, but rather hard to read, so instead of the yellow we had for Stockholm, let go mad & have……blue
