Is Lego expensive in other countries? In Denmark it’s rather pricey, but sometimes the toy stores offers some bargains.
I would say so...it's a premium toy brand, for sure. I think it's the same in the US as your experience in Denmark, some expensive, but with bargains too. The really great thing about Lego is how timeless they are though. My friend had a yard sale last summer and the couple lego sets she was selling from the 1980's are easily just as desirable as today's sets. I was disappointed that those sold immediately-I was going to buy them if they didn't sell (I should've known they'd sell!).

It's everywhere the same more or less what means it is expensive, sometimes terribly expensive. But if only you can afford it... um and ah... save, give up on clothes, food, all the others necessary things to live etc.... it's worth buying and enjoying then.

We just had an "incident" where the spawn was going to make himself late for school because he was begging to "fix" something he is building.
I love LEGOs, really. I used to skip school feigning illness to play with them. However, now as a parent, having stepped on them, vacuumed them up, seen them cause tears and yelling, I am torn.
