Anyone here interested in chatting about the NFL? Would luv to chat about it but no big deal if people aren't into it. I do know it is gaining popularity in other parts of the world. The games they have in England have been doing well & they are going to play regular season games in Mexico & possibly Germany as well. China is also on the horizon. I'm a huge Seattle Seahawk fan & have been since the franchise started. I've got tickets for the 1st 2 home games of the regular season & am very excited. Very hard to get. A little story about how I get the tickets. A few years ago, I tried to purchase some disabled seats via Ticketmaster. They refused to sell them to me. Well, Chuck did not abide! I contacted the consumer advocate for a local tv station & raised hell. I was actually on the local news. Ticketmaster tried to throw the Seahawks under the bus, which wasn't the case. I was quite clear about that. It ended up with Ticketmaster changing how they handle those tickets for everything & the Seahawks taking control of it for themselves. I actually got an email from the CEO of Ticketmaster & free tickets to a game. I ended up helping some folks who might be less vocal about those problems nationwide. & since I didn't sue anyone (I totally could have & won), the Seahawks are nice to me. I get a pair of tickets to 2 games a year at season ticket prices, which is a huge deal. I try to advocate when I can for people with disabilities as a lot of those people would be reticent to speak up.
