Do you have a band name you really can't stand? Let's hear it. My nomination is Diarrhea Planet. Unfortunately in this case the name is actually a good description of their music. Icky quasi jam band poop. I sincerely hope to never hear them again.
Good thing you weren't living in USA about a year ago, Rafa. They were using Europe "Final Countdown" in a commercial I think for an insurance company. The band were actually in the commercial. I swear it was on every 20 minutes for 6 months!
Butthole Surfers...I like their music, but what a terrible, terrible name.
Having lived in Malibu for awhile, I can see where the name came from. They did have an awesomely named album: Hairway to Steven. Ultimately this band was a cautionary tale about drugs (or too many drugs if you like) are bad.

Jeez...
Here in Spain, the conservative party used it for some years about a decade ago or so. There's no word to describe it...

Daniel was in the wrong place at the wrong time...
yeah, the effects of the drugs on top of his mental health problems was definitely not good. But I wonder, would albums like 1990 exist if the drugs hadn't fueled his demonic hallucinations and religious obsession?

Softandonly, you should check this film out. Another Texas musician horror story. Excellent film. I first saw it around the same time as the Daniel Johnston movie.
