I don't think their new album is going to win over many new fans but it is gorgeous - I've played it 3-4 times a day since it came out and still can't get enough of it.

How do you rank it amongst of their rest records until now?

It's the strings & production that make it so good, really lush. I've heard quite a few people saying its like Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden and it does have that kind of vibe.
I think King of Limbs, was probably most disappointing, Its difficult to rate their new one against the old albums but there are moments that sound like all the different periods of their back catalogue.
There's a lot less of the Thom bleepy laptop nonsense which is also a good thing.

This is a much better indicator of how the album sounds than Burn The Witch (which is the most up tempo thing on the album)

I was at the Roundhouse last night, they were stunning. The setlist had a bit of everything and the atmosphere in the crowd was spot on. So much better than the TKOL tour.

A Moon Shaped Pool is a great record.

They've also announced a Polish festival.
