Good morning,
So a few months ago, I had one of those moments a parent dreams about.
My 21 year old daughter texted me from college and said "Hey Dad, what's this I hear about The Cure touring this summer?"
She grew up listening to my music, and like most kids, has rejected almost all of it. But Show has been in my regular rotation since forever, and she knows every song on there by heart. So what's a father to do? She finishes finals on the 16th, and will be home in time to enjoy our sixth row center seats.
I watched the setlist thread last night, and I don't want to post any spoilers, but I'm very excited about some things, and disappointed in others. I suppose that's always the case when you have such a huge catalogue.
I'm sure we're going to have a great time regardless. The next generation is coming!
Hello hello! Welcome and so happy to hear that you're going to share a Cure experience with your daughter! I love that multiple generations are moved and excited by The Cure. Have fun...and can't wait to hear more about the show soon!
