Huge fan for the past 20 years (eep!), finally getting to see them LIVE in Las Vegas (coming all the way from central Canada to see them in a small venue).
Question for you folks, I've purchase a GA floor ticket, gig begins at 7:00 pm, if I want a chance of getting close to the stage at what time should I arrive? And where should I station myself once inside the theatre? I'd like to position myself right in front of Sir Robert for the duration of the concert. Almost hard to believe my teenage dreams are about to be realized! Ahhhh!
Hi msdanielle! Welcome to the forum! I'm right there with you...this tour will be the first to actually see them in-person. Good luck getting up close in Vegas!!!
Hello & welcome I'm sure some folks with a bit more local knowledge will start with advice for reaching the barrier. I added you on the list now Happy posting & enjoy the show.
Hello and welcome, I reckon you'll have to get there as soon as the doors open to nab a prime position, but, as it's your first I'm sure you'll have a great time wherever you end up.
Welcome!!! I'm no help for your question, as I'm going to see them in June and have a similar question myself! I don't know the venue I'm going to at all.
I've been to the venue once & it was a seated show (Craig Ferguson). I think you will be fine anywhere but I would suspect if you want to get up front you'll probably want to get in line at least a few hours early. The room is a little tricky to find. On the 2nd floor & way in the back. It was surprising how far. Security was very tight & it was like going to the airport with metal detectors & wanding, so the line wasn't quick. Obviously, don't know where you're staying but I never get a car in Vegas. The cabs are plentiful & not expensive. Also, depending on your location, you can take free trams that will land you close to the Cosmopolitan. I'm taking tram from Mandalay to Excalibur then walking to the Monte Carlo. From there another free tram either to Aria or Bellagio. From there its a very short walk to Cosmopolitan. I can't stand for a show, so I scored front row balcony closest to stage from a broker. Hopefully we will be in for a good 3 hours + of Cure + Twilight Sad! Hope this helps & maybe will see you there.
Hi everyone! Define early...I'll be staying at The Mirage and will likely be walking back and forth. Guess I'll be sporting some dorky-looking orthopedic kicks that night.
We are renting a car whilst in Vegas, but we are planning on venturing off the strip. We're planning a short holiday, so we'll do the regular sites and Red Rock for some hiking!
I cannot wait for this! Thank you for sharing where the Chelsea is acutally located, I've been searching for info in regards to this and it's so difficult to find! 2nd floor, back of hotel, check! I;m just afraid of wasting time and missing out on a prime spot...

I spent a week at The Cosmo back in Feb, and I never saw the Chelsea once! Mind you, I wasn't really looking for it at the time, although they did have numerous adverts for The Cure around the hotel on the digital screens.
