To lead us into a new dark album - we need to hear ' The Scream'
That'll give all the band a chance to go manic........
Mind you, not sure where to post this, but for me, Reeves screeching guitar solos are ruining the mood of many songs. They seems unrelated to anything before or after them and could be played at any time or place. It could be worse of course, I've been harbouring a deep dread that he would introduce the band to Jazz!!! Then I'd have to find a new fav band.
I could do without hearing the ones we can't get away from for 20+ years: Lullaby, Prayers for Rain, Want, Inbetween Days, Push, Disintegration, One Hundred Years, Close to Me, and Let's Go to Bed.
I know people like these, so substitutes:
Lullaby: Closedown (achieved!) Prayers for Rain: Last Dance (achieved!) Want: All I Want (achieved!) Inbetween Days: Throw Your Foot Push: Screw (achieved!) Disintegration: The Same Deep Water as You (achieved!) One Hundred Years: The Figurehead Close to Me: Sinking Let's Go to Bed: Happy the Man
Tape (yes it's a song ) Burn The Upstairs Room Babble Hot Hot Hot The Drowning Man (like the album slow and with the echoes) Secrets Pornography Almost ---The Entire Bloodflowers Album (I missed that tour) The Figurehead Apart This Twilight Garden Halo Play Happy The Man Primary Shake Dog Shake Stop Dead All I Want The Snakepit A Night Like This The Walk (so we can use our Kazoos) Prayers for Rain Sinking Maybe Someday M Faith Other Voices The Blood Throw Your Foot A Man Inside My Mouth A Chain of Flowers It Used to Be ME Cold How Beautiful You Are A Strange Day In Your House Never Enough Piggy in The Mirror Play for Today (so we can do the ohs) A Forest End with a smashing version of Killing an ARAB which goes into a 20 minute version of All Mine and Forever
How is that for a dream?
So my list is shaping up. All of the songs in green are what they have played............so far.

The entire Bloodflowers album in green? You're cheating, Pip! You forgot to highlight Piggy in the Mirror. And I think they did Play for Today in NO, didn't they?

There are probably dozens that I would love to hear live, but I'll narrow it down to these, my very favorites:
2 Late A Chain of Flowers A Foolish Arrangement A Pink Dream A Short Term Effect Babble Breathe Cut Here Doubt Fear of Ghosts Halo Harold and Joe How Beautiful You Are It Used To Be Me Japanese Dream New Day Siamese Twins Signal to Noise
Pre-tour I thought they'd do one track dedicated to Bowie; perhaps The Last Thing You Should Do, or Young Americans (unlikely to be Quicksand given the band arrangement), however I didn't anticipate they might have written and be willing to perform an entirely new song, reflective of an appropriate sentiment.
