Has the Cure ever done trilogy type shows with "Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me" or "Wish"? At the risk of seeming pedestrian, I will admit "Disintegration" is my favorite. Just one of those things. Would be 1 of my desert island disks for sure. It's pretty dang close to perfect record. "Kiss" & "Wish" aren't too far behind. I'd probably put "Head on the Door" as a wish to see live, also. 1 of the things I luv about the Cure is there is such a diverse wealth of material. You can find something appropriate for most moods. I'm getting really excited about seeing them on the 19th & am anxiously waiting for the New Orleans setlists. I don't get this wound up for concerts usually, having seen so many. There are a few artists that usually I'm pretty primed by the time the show rolls around but I've seen them many times before. Examples: Neil Finn & Jeff Beck. Neil is doing a few shows & I'm hoping he adds Seattle this summer. Jeff Beck changed my music life at age 15 & is playing this summer at the Seattle zoo!?!?!?! 40 years ago @ the tender age of 15, I saw Beck open for Aerosmith in the late, unlamented Kingdome in Seattle. It was my 4th concert ever. Beck came out & declared "this place sucks! welcome to the Kingdome echo chamber" & proceeded to blow Aerosmith off the stage. By the time he finished with "Train Kept-a Rollin", Aerosmith might as well as stayed in the dressing room. I've seen him several times in radically different venues & he never disappoints. It's never the same either! It was the start of my lifelong road to ruin, haha. His show here in August is probably the next show I'm as excited about as the Cure. The Cure will be a first time though & there is something to be said for that.

If Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney can play a Prince song The Cure can. I wouldn't mind seeing them do a little Alphabet Street actually. Reeves could totally funk it up. I've seen him do it with Cluf D'elf because they were a psychedelic band. Or if not get that crazy Purple Rain they could certainly do. Kiss would blow me away actually (because it's my favorite Prince song). Would be cool if they mixed it in somehow with The Cure's The Kiss. Yeah I know this is all a dream. haha
