I probably had tickets to see Echo And The Bunnymen in Liverpool. They cancelled. As a result, I didn't bother buying, let alone even listening to their new album. On the upside, I got my monies back from said concert in a timely manner.
Saw Mac’s solo show the other week, really enjoyed it a lot more than I had anticipated. Took a couple of songs for his voice to really get going but couldn’t really fault his playing.
He should give a master class in dealing with hecklers and ‘over enthusiastic’ fans; he doesn’t exactly hold back in what he thinks, does he?
Ignore the FU; From what I remember they played quite a bit off their comeback album but not enough oldies and the whole site was a swamp which didn't help.
