The X-Files

Saw the first one yesterday & have the second cued up for later. Was a bit worried at first. It was a bit disappointing for the first 15 minutes or so, but it got into its groove soon enough & I almost started fashioning a tin foil hat as Mulder got into manic mode.

 oh my!

Just watched the latest episode & it was terrible.
Absurd in the extreme. Hope there are no more like that

Ahhh hmmm me thinks you did not see the entire series perhaps (although knowing you no you just really hated it  lol). There have been goofy ones in the past. This one reminded me of several such as Detour Which is the one where the trees/ground/brush turned into a monster (they never really captured them). Or Arcadia where the monster came up from the ground (that was a silly one but highly enjoyable they never got him either) or of course How The Ghosts Stole Christmas with Lily Tomlin and Ed Asner where Mulder and Scully seem to shoot each other but then they really didn't. That is pure X-files...unknown....mysterious.....goofy....bizarre-o.  Plus Mulder was starting to be Scully and Scully Mulder and that can never happen. The only thing I didn't like about it was when Mulder's ring tone was the X -File theme. Mmm nooo can't bring reality into fantasy...no no no... Not the best so far but I enjoyed it.  

After the first two, I was really miffed at this were-person thing. Right from the get go with those two paint huffers you just knew it was going to be a lemon.
& no. The ring tone didn't do it any favours at all.
I love the X Files but honestly cannot stand the goofy episodes.
