I snatched Marcel's little snippet of interview from the Pink Pop video above and a lovely lady named Dolly on my The Cure LIVE FB group translated what he said. Here is the video and the translation is below.
The girl introduces him as Marcel but adds while walking around with him for a while everyone calls him Robert…Marcel says they should look better , He's much taller than Robert.
The girl asks him how tall he is and he replies he’s 1.89 meters with the hair down
The girl asks how long it takes him to get all dressed up like he is and Marcel replies that it took him 20 minutes that day.
You then see a shot of some festival people being confused is it Robert or a lookalike? Some are convinced it’s Robert. Dat is em! Dat is em! (That’s him! That’s him!)
The girl then says/asks You’ve been Cure fan for 27 years… Marcel tells her he’s been a fan since 1981 so that’s 31 years already.
The girl then says today the Cure is playing Pinkpop, last time they were there was 1986…She then asks Marcel if he was there in 1986 which he confirmes and adds that it was a great show.
The girl asks if Marcel thinks this show will live up to the one in 1986 and Marcel replies that the choice of songs is a lot broader since then. He adds that he expects them to play a festival set, more commercial.
The girl then makes a comment that she misses the red lipstick. Marcel explains that that is the difference between trying to be a lookalike and being Marcel. He doesn’t think he looks that much like Robert, this is just his way of dressing up for a special event (which he refers to as the gala look). During the week the hair is down and in a tail, more hardrock style.
The girl says she brought pink lipstick and asks Marcel if she can put it on, he asks if he can take it off afterwards , after she confirms, he says it’s okay and she puts on the lipstick.
The girl then asks him if he’s ever met them. Marcel says he has spoken to Robert in Paris in 2001. He says he doesn’t want to bother them so he just said thanks for an autographed photo and they spoke briefly.
(this line made me cry....but then I'm a mush...) Marcels last comment is: They are my heroes.

Still can't believe it. He was a decicated and proud father (see all his posts of photos from his daughters). It must be such a shock for the children. It's soooo sad
The news article said they're in hospital, I wonder if they've actually been told yet
Dear Marcel&Nancy...today even hurts more than all the others days. Being thrilled about the upcoming tour of The Cure,...,but wait,....., this one is without you both. Is that possible ?! Being hurt about the upcoming tour of The Cure in Europe end of 2016. Not standing next to you, makes me cry a little,..., what will be lots more then..... To Wish Impossible Things...
For the new people who do not know, we lost a VERY SPECIAL Cure fan this day last year. Let's all take a moment to remember our Marcel!! and his lovely wife Nancy who died with him in a car crash. We still miss ya big fellow!! A fun moment when the fans thought Marcel was Robert.
