When I make a boiled egg I bring it to boil then take it off the stove cover it for ten minutes exactly rinse in cold water. Voila, just hard boiled eggs. No yolk about it!
Sometimes I boil them but have them on toast because my poached egg technique is a bit hit and miss!
I use silicone pods for poached eggs, they work really well. Just have to make sure the water is boiling before you put the pods in and pop a lid on the pot. They work every time
