I liked this one, too, but one thing really bugged me: David did so much work on the aliens, but what was the advantage of making it harder for them to reproduce? They went from spores to, like, a 3 or 4 step process...

I think that was the nature of the hybridisation.
Once the 1st generation has "hatched/ burst out of a host" they were already hybrids that most likely needed to lay the eggs for the 2nd generation. If you follow that logic all the way through to Resurrection & the final hybrid in that, it sort of makes (a bit of) sense

True! I guess that's the nature of this particular beast, when considering the dog in Alien 3 and the mammal hybrids in Resurrection!

Blade Runner 2049.Looks great, sounds great and has a fairly well paced plot. Only felt long when we walked out into darkness - was fine while on.

Villeneuve is up there with Fincher and Nolan now - not Kubrick level yet but always watchable and no duds so far

The cinematography was amazing good for 1965. Wasn't really "scary" but it was interesting.

I read that, but it seems to be just because what with it being so long it limits screenings.
