Yay! That UK entry's not that bad as it goes. Better than any of the tripe we've entered in recent years. Hungary's entry is another train wreck. After last year's paedophilia theme, this year we're going for political a protest song. That'll work Loving Finland's entry, but it prolly won't win. Must get stuck into some scathing constructive & balanced reviews soon
Here's the girl who won our national selection last week. Well, she didn't really win but the winner withdraw from the competition after winning the national selection (yeah...whatever!), so the girl who came in 2nd will go to Austria.
Yeah, they were good, but I'm glad in a way that they didn't just get a sympathy vote. That would have been pretty cringeworthy. Do hope they continue making music on their own terms though.
I like the entries of Latvia and Ireland. I'm looking forward to the big show on Saturday, I'll be watching with my mum and my aunt. There will be champagne.
