Hurry hurry super scurry
Well here we are again. Back at the Stadium of Faith for this, a “double” GW.
Yes, that’s right, Spurs & QPR have two outings each this week, so time to get all your Rangers players back into the fray.
Word of the day from the press conferences is “resilience”. So if you picked that one, you’ll get maximum bonus points
Just been out on the pitch painting the lines. I ran out of white paint towards the end, so I improvised one of the penalty areas with white silly string (although everyone on twitter thinks it’s blue).
On last weekend’s controversy:
I didn’t see the incident myself. I was in the technical area trying to get the wrapper off a scotch egg.
I won’t say which brand, as whenever I do I get punished. But I thought it was clearly a penalty & the ref sent off the right colour shirt at least…..or something.
But I digress. The Industrial Groove Machine continue to be Marching Men (& a lady) with another win, albeit by a narrower margin than in recent weeks
The League Cup final caused a fair bit of carnage in the transfer market, hobbling one or two teams. But, despite that, some pretty good scores were to be had & some faith in the wig-man paid off in spades.
To recap the scores on the doors
The Sisters 468 - 458 The Cure
+10 points to The Sisters making an overall lead of +362.
Another bottle of Perwoll Color has been shipped to Johnny Rev 7.0’s FC Bennweg-Zeis 1921 to keep that Yellow Jersey from appearing blue & black
& the Big Shout Out is well deserved by Nikolas Vitus Lagartija’s Damage Dunfermline with a whopping 79 points.
So without further ado, welcome to GW28 & in honour of British Pie Week, please visit our concession stands for a tasty selection of your pastry lidded favourites to snack on….or just to pull bits off & throw at the ball boys, as we don’t feed them at half time. They’ll thank you for it, but be careful what you chuck at Brian. He’s allergic to peas………oh & Roger doesn’t get on well with carrots.
'Ave at it folks
