Woke up to a text that one of the kids downstairs is sick and the caretaker needed me to watch him while she took the other one to camp. It was easy but I’ve been going nonstop in the heat since and will work until 7:30 tonight. I’m cranky and also just learned my brother-in-law’s brother has passed away from surgery during late stage cancer.

Exhausted. Brother & his GF flew home yesterday evening after a lovely few days crammed with stuff.....& food......& wine Time for a bit of a rest methinks.
I feel accomplished and tough. I got this 2 meter long 35 kilo box from IKEA out of the car I borrowed and up these stairs all by myself. Sadly, I cracked my friends’ bumper when taking the box out of the trunk.
I also was excited to use the car to transport these large items from the grocery store. A car does make lots of things easier!
ETA: Do you think TC will hire me as a roadie now so I can run away from home for a spell?

I'm facing a David Attenborough wildlife documentary dilemma. We have a host/ubiquity of sparrows that live in the hedgerow that grows along one side of our garden (ok I admit I googled the collective name for sparrows). They are very entertaining to watch especially when having their soil baths outside our kitchen window. Mr Sparrowhawk turned up this morning for breakfast ie our baby sparrows.

We have a host/ubiquity of sparrows that live in the hedgerow that grows along one side of our garden (ok I admit I googled the collective name for sparrows). They are very entertaining to watch especially when having their soil baths outside our kitchen window. Mr Sparrowhawk turned up this morning for breakfast ie our baby sparrows.
Awkward. Sadly you need to let nature be nature. Hopefully the parents will be on the lookout to minimise casualties

Sadly, after feeling like Shirte for a few days after doing that I filed it under "just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something..." Beer roadie, perhaps?
Extremely happy. After very long time since I last recorded, I am starting a new music project with one of my best friends. We began to record the first song on tape last weekend.
