well steve thats what happens with the right wing tory rags and what makes me laugh or even scared , is that millions of brainless people are drip fed the lies that the gutter press print , and they believe that this a true reflection of our society .
(in my opinion all newspapers are gutter press and there stories should be taken with a pinch of salt)
Well, not anxious anymore. instead I am SO ****ing PISSED and ANGRY! Apperently I live among some arrogant, self-centered snobs, who´s mision are to punish anyone who enjoys life a bit. and the worst part is, that they don´t even show the respect by confronting me/us in person. NOoooooo, just complain to the home-owners association. They should F........ mind their own business!

The world is neither fair nor unfair - It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it
I've got to go into work today (with The Idiot, lucky me) because tomorrow, I'm having a camera shoved down my throat.
Joy.
Hope things went well
Well, considering that they can't find anything wrong with me and that the non-stop, vicious heartburn attacks have stopped (even though they've only stopped coz I started again to take the 'Grumpy Tummy' tablets that I was weaning myself off, which shouldn't happen, according to the doc.) I'm feeling very much normal.
Trust me to be weird!!
Anyway, you Missus: this anxiety and rage. Not good. Not good at all!! Can you do anything about either situation?
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
B13 - doesn´t sound nice. have you looked at you diet? some food and drinks can make heartburns much worse.
actually things got worse after the first post. so now I am thinking about moving, even though that will then be for the fourth time within 1 1/2 year. so tired of it. Just want to find a place to stay for more than 6 month.
concerning the anxiety -I am fine. take a lot of meds and done a lot of therapy.
maybe I should get a new life philosophy like: "If you embrace chaos, you will find that everything will suddenly be in order"
A penguin, because it is among my favorite animals :-)

I'm glad everything went ok with the camera thing L. And I hope you get well soon.
I'm really concerned, we've had a terrible storm over here, Buenos Aires City and some places in the suburbs have been completely flooded, there has been more than 50 deaths. Luckily me and my family and friends are ok, but this was awful. What really makes me angry is that it could have been prevented at some point, we could have been prepared, the city gobernment has spent only a 20% of the pluvial (?) infrastructure budget.

See that is a seriously problem. thanks May, puts everything in perspective.

There is definitely truth in that: if you can take control of a situation, 'own' it and take steps to change it, you're the one pulling the strings and in control.

We've had terrible flooding over here too (followed by unusual snowfalls) and yep, unless it happens in an area where politicians live ... nothing gets done.
I'm glad you're all OK though. Stay safe!!!
Me? I over-slept. I feel as rough as a badger's bum - and bearing in mind where I volunteer, I know exactly how rough those things can get...
I got pounced on by an adult female badger a couple of years ago, I'd gone into the pre-release enclosure to top up the food bowls and she took GREAT exception to us all being in there and barrelled over to chase us away. I can't run too well because of a dodgy knee, so while everyone else scarpered, I was left to take the full force of an adult badger throwing herself on to me.
It was like being hit by a heavy bag of wet sand. With a set of four inch claws at all corners and an alarmingly large set of teeth at the front.
Fortunately, because I didn't react, her bluff was called and so for the next couple of minutes, I was hip-to-nose with a now curious badger, who was more interested in giving my jeans a jolly good sniff over rather than ripping me to shreds!!
She toddled off when she was ready and I made a swift exit!!
