Today I'm a bit tired, had a long drive to Scotland, followed by a late night in the pub and then an early start today to meet my best mate for lunch. She lives in Aberdeen but was in Glasgow this weekend so took the train to come to where we are, for lunch. We then spent an hour down at the shore. Despite there being areas of snow built up higher than the car, the weather is absolutely glorious. I can't believe how lucky we are!! I am now enjoying the peace while the kids are roaming the village...and preparing myself for a heavy night in the pub!
Had a really nice day today: this morning I went dog-walking with some pals, came home ad did some DIY, fixed a dodgy clock mechanism and then went out for a meal in the pub with one of my oldest and best friends.
He and I are like brother and sister (I want a DNA test done coz I'm sure we're related) and bloody hell, we've helped each other through hell and back in the 20-odd years that we've known each other. So just sitting in a pub, chinwagging on a lively Spring evening was just the ticket!
The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Due to the tremendous amount of work I've been given I don't have much time to spend around here and it makes me feel bad. I know I shouldn't but it reallt bothers me! I cannot catch up at all! (although that's a good thing cause it means the forum is very popular
I don't think I make use of all this time. Oh kill me kiss me once, and then we'll throw it away.
