And let's face it, the last two albums have been patchy to say the least. If Robert considers the quality isn't up to it then best it stays unreleased. We'll take the reissues instead!!!
But surely the fact that tracks from the last two albums were played recently indicates that he still thinks highly of them? And why even resurrect the idea of 4.26? I am still hopeful!

There's some great stuff on the last couple of albums. But also some very weak stuff. Robert has said he wanted 4:13 to be a double album so there's clearly some good material to release but he's also said it would be weird to release stuff recorded by a previous incarnation of the band. So who knows? But I too am hopeful!!
Im waiting on Wish Deluxe... or even better, a making of Wish documentary, i would love to see what was going on at the time when they were recording that album, some studio out takes, how Porl recorded the solo on Deep Green Sea.
There's clearly enough recorded stuff to warrant a 'new' album. Even if it is marketed as a companion to 4:13. I'd love to hear studio versions of the 2004 outtakes - Boy I Never Knew, Please Come Home etc.
Undoubtedly there are lots of "shelved" songs that will lilely be ressurected in a new incermation. Bob's renowned for doing that
be a shame if those 2 fantastic songs never got released. i'd have loved a 10 song dark album with please come home/boy i never knew and 8 others of similar quality
