There's clearly enough recorded stuff to warrant a 'new' album. Even if it is marketed as a companion to 4:13. I'd love to hear studio versions of the 2004 outtakes - Boy I Never Knew, Please Come Home etc.

Undoubtedly there are lots of "shelved" songs that will lilely be ressurected in a new incermation. Bob's renowned for doing that

As long as they keep just Say Yes buried deep in a cavern somewhere. Gosh I hate that song. I had JTD on earlier and realized, "Yep, it's sh&t" with or without Paprika. See what I did there? hee hee
Although, I can rewrite it and make it better. hee hee yeah ok I'm really going now...

As nice as an In Orange remaster would be, I'd much prefer new stuff. A mix of Reflections/LatAm/RAH perhaps? Besides I'm kinda fond of my grainy In Orange which I had copied from VHS on to DVD !!!!
At this point anything released will be good!
At night...I hear the darkness breathe...I sense the quiet despair...Listen to the silence...At night...Someone has to be there...
For me it would be nice if they would release In Orange on DVD/Blu-Ray or Show, but also e.g. the Reflections (from Sydney). And of course a new album and a tour.
I walk wondering why, the same dream so many times
I wonder if the possible hold up with 4.26 is re recording the unreleased material with Reeves on guitar. After all the previous line up is 'over forever' and he has said that he wanted to make new music with this band..
I honestly don't think there will be anything I think Robert has lost confidence in his ability to produce new material (maybe rightly so); and he doesn't have financial pressures forcing him to exploit the back catalogue. So I reckon that's it. Don't bite my head off here people, that's just my theory ...

He has nothing to prove and no real need to release material. Especially if he thinks it's not comparable with what's gone before. I totally agree with you. He seems happy with what he's doing right now...and to be honest, so am I!

And let's face it, the last two albums have been patchy to say the least. If Robert considers the quality isn't up to it then best it stays unreleased. We'll take the reissues instead!!!
I love to have everything possible from The Cure in next year and all upcoming years... But during this 2014 there was a kind of catharsis for me. I simply decided to be pretty happy just with the possibility to see them live. So, my biggest wish for 2015 is proper continental European concert (not held since 2008!)... If this can be some special stuff connected with THOTD or KMKMKM - fantastic even more! Every other eventual release from the past I will grab like unexpected bonus... Right now I am more than ever ready to accept that we should not expect anything like new album, and will live with that... The Cure will not play for another ten years... But let us enjoy this several more we have for us with them. Cheers!
