Has anyone else ever noticed that aside from a few variances (rolls or triple strikes at certain parts in the song), the snare strike pattern in Fascination Street goes as per this below
S, S, S, D S, DD, S, D
S = Single strike D = Double strike - normal speed DD = Double strike - fast speed
It repeats like this throughout the entire song, except as I said for a few instances where the final double strike is a roll or a few other variances... Sometimes when I'm listening to Disintegration, I'll listen to Fascination Street twice and the second time, concentrate on the snare pattern. It's amazing....
Have a listen, and tell me what you think...

If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

Yep. But I notice on the album version the first pattern for Boris is SSS,D,S,DD,S,D but the second bar is not it's SSS, D, SSS, DDD (sort a triple drum or yes roll on that second bar), But with Jason, in the Trilogy version of FS for example, it's SSS, D, S, DD, S D but it sounds like he is hitting the rim of the snare on the Ds. With (r) signifying Rim
So Jason's pattern is sort of like SSS, rDrD, S, DD, S, rDrD The rDrD are 1/16 notes perhaps? I don't play the drums but that is what it sounds like to me. And I adore Boris but I think Jason's is neater if I am correct that he is hitting the rim.
