It's weird is what it is...and wrong yes.

Not gonna lie, I am having a really hard time accepting this... Roger is my favorite non-Robert member of the band... I mean... I guess since Roger has been sacked by Robert on 3 different occasions, he would be most likely to do a Morrissey film...

Waaaay back in this thread Pipperoo posted about Roger's project composing for the ballet Orpheus and Eurydice in Russia. As a dancer this really caught my attention so I poked around a little to see what else I could find.

Roger wrote the music for piano and four cellos. It's really beautiful. I have a cello in my closet I am trying to sell. My favorite instrument.

Here is a 15 minute video with some interviews with the dancers and Roger at the beginning. It's worth a watch. Of course, Roger is really well spoken.

While I don't care for the choreography too much, the dancers do a beautiful job with it. The set / video projection is also quite effective. It's great to have the musicians on stage with the dancers, too. It makes all the difference, I think, in how you dance and how the artists connect during the performance.
