I actually thought it wasn't bad considering it had to translate it not only to English but also to our alphabet! You should see when it tries to translate Greek and even French! haha
I sent a figie a Christmas Card written in Greek, the ever reliable Google translate helped me out, apparently I wished him a merry donkey and a happy new shoe. I only remember the extra important Greek phrases like, mea beera parakalo ... .. .

Only once in my life have I ever used an online translate thingy because I was way too lazy to do my homework after a week of campus party madness. I think, it was for my course in business Russian or business French, not sure which one. My prof was shocked and asked whether this was really my work. I felt so stupid and invented a very weird story. Fortunately she allowed me to do it again - this time by myself. Lesson learned.
I honestly don't remember the most dramatic details, of course I lost the real homework that was done by me myself! The Babelfish insanity was given to her by some evil student who wrote my name on it. It only took me about 15 minutes to do the translation myself, nowadays I only use google translate when I'm drunk and need some entertainment.
I never really used Google translate before this round of international ticket buying, but so many different languages.. It's so easy to just hit the "translate automatically" button and try to get the gist of what it spits out. Hoping I did actually get tickets for THE CURE... maybe "Standing for the Cure" actually meant I will be participating in a public anti-cancer demonstration?
It would be so perfect if you would just fall out the window
