I don't recall this specific interview, but it was around this time I was really getting into The Cure and these kind of 'gawd, I'd rather be cleaning out Siouxsie's mascara wands than being here' interviews made the band more endearing to me... though it didn't help that the interviewers tended to be totally inane.

I tried to imagine again what kind of year 1983 must have been for Robert. Playing in three bands (Cure, Siouxsie, Glove), touring Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Euro festivals with Siouxsie, then the USA with The Cure, then to Israel and the RAH gigs (Nocturne) with Siouxsie again, while also recording The Walk, Dear Prudence and the Lovecats singles, The Glove album, Hyaena, The Top...

I was inclined to think earlier that 1982 was a peak of Robert's creativity. Now I pick 1983 as top of the tops. To cover so much in just one seems to be unbelievable really.
