I agree with Maz, Plainsong live is sublime - I start grinning as soon as I hear the chimes, well, at the Albert Hall I was choking on the toxic vodka!
Underneath The Stars is also epic live, a perfect opener
Faith is another, especially with "added lyrics"
Whilst I agree Reeves can play a bit, I think Porl was better, and, Perry could make anything sound better!
I like the 'thin' sounds of Boys Don't Cry and Killing An Arab on record. Post punk minimalism, innit? I have to confess, I don't really like 'At Night' that much on record, it's my least favourite off 17S but I love all the live versions. Top of the list for me though is Shake Dog Shake, I mean I LOVE the album version anyway but live? It does things to me that I cannot describe on a family forum o_0 Always my favourite, favourite song to hear live!!!

I LOVE "Underneath the Stars" from the record, but have never heard it live. None of my boots have that song, unfortunately. Gonna go check it out on the Tube right now!

Do you have the MTV Special from Rome? The whole 4.13 Dream album was played along with an extensive encore, the torrent should be on here - I think I uploaded it, somebody did for sure! 4Play live from Charlotte is also available

Wow, that sounds awesome. I was looking for that album today, but couldn't find it at my (somewhat) local shop. I don't have enough posts yet to access the flac shows. How many do I need to be able to download it?
I'm patient. I'll just have to keep posting as the (wild) mood (swings) hits me.
I'm presently converting a London 2011 show from flac to wav, and wow, it is excellent quality. It's a 3-source matrix that hits both the highs and the lows of the sound spectrum, so I'm excited to listen to the whole show from beginning to end. It's a trilogy concert, with a long encore, too.
Ah "Reflections", I think I have the recording you're describing plus the added bonus of also being at the concert. The Rome and 4Play Charlotte recordings are professional jobs, immaculate quality.

"Reflections," that's it! I was thinking "Trilogy," but that was the Berlin show (which I have on DVD). I still burn to disc, which will be happening tonight with the London show. Unbelievable: Robert's shows go so long that you need--COUNT 'EM!--THREE CDs to properly burn the whole thing.
Cool that you got to go to that show. I would love to see them live. I'll have to look out for them to come to the southeastern part of the United States. Atlanta, maybe? Nashville? Denver is a long, long ways for me, so that ain't gonna happen.

Did you guys properly sing "Play for Today?" How do Londoners behave at a concert? It's very sad on the other side of the pond. Here it seems that people buy their tickets to have the chance to go inside, buy VERY expensive beer, film a few songs with their phones, and try to talk over the music to their friends. I have literally seen an entire row of people do nothing but go back and forth the entire show to either a) go to the bathroom, b) go buy more beer, or c) do both. It becomes like two shows for me. The first show is the MAIN ACT, the reason that I pay my ticket and go. The second show is watching these fools act like idiots. It's funny.
