Most songs sounds better live, at least that´s what I think of most bands. Studio-recordings are to "plastic" and "perfect"...live has the "true" dimension.
One thing I've noticed lately is that the endings of Boys Don't Cry are way better when it was Porl on guitar. He does this ascending arpeggio thing after the bridge that just lifts it so much and makes it truly epic. For some reason, Perry and Reeves both play it like it is on the album and it kind of falls flat. When Porl came back in 2005 for Live 8, he revives this little bit and in my opinion it makes the song into a live powerhouse instead of just playing 'the hit'.

I love the energy of some of the performances of Alt.End and End Of The World, and The Kiss is always fun to watch, seeing Robert wailing away on the guitar.
