Tried works once but nothing was compatible with it. I couldn't open it (and nobody else could) in any other computer. Keep that in mind when you start creating documents in some fly by night processor program.

Thanks for the tip! I've never heard of LibreOffice before. Seems like it's got everything going for it. I wonder if my dad has ever heard of it. He's very old school though when it comes to spreadsheeting or writing documents. He's always used Wordperfect or Excel. Heck he even still uses some programs in DOS!!
Never heard of LibreOffice until now & if OpenOffice goes south I will certainly be looking at this as an alternative on the Mac. I considered Pages for about 5 seconds. But it's a word processor & I want something I can use for the whole office suite, as a lot of files I am sent are MS generated & not just word documents.
I'm uploading my copy of Office Enterprise 2007 to my seedbox now, I'll send you a link when it's ready. It accepts all Microsoft updates and anything else Microsoft wants to chuck at it. It's the full installation, includes;
Access Excel Office Groove Infopath One Note Outlook Powerpoint Publisher Word
Office Tools:
Microsoft Clip Organiser Microsoft Office Diagnostics Microsoft Office Picture Manager
