Honestly, I kind of feel the same way about Moz now as I do Michael Jackson, although my hatred for "This Charming Man" isn't as strong as for Jacko.

I do love some old Smiths. However, now when I hear Morrissey's voice, all I can think is that it doesn't sound quite as lovely knowing what I know about the kind of person he seems to be.

Pretty is as pretty does...

Nah I love the idea of him signing LPs of his idols and selling them at the merch stall. It fits him real well and it works. Transformer signed by Morrissey...Loads better than Kill Uncle signed by Morrissey. I'm no follower of Morrissey, neither the music nor his opinions but I hear he comes out with some dodgy politics and maybe the personality influences our thoughts on other aspects of the art he works in, but it doesn't get in the way of this one for me. Great imagery.
This kind of smells of Kiss are bad and oh no look they've put out a Kiss hoover, the stinkers. New Model Army are great and we want a New Model Army Tea Towel, that's cool. Might be Moz but it's still good. In fact, I can't think of anyone else this would work with...A Nina Simone LP signed by Cave? nah! A Carpenters record signed by Frank Black? Hmmmmm...might be ok...I've got an Eloise 12" signed by the Captain...he's written 'But I'm not even on this!'
