That looks like a pretty cool machine. I've run the gamut of PCs in my lifetime... I use them mostly for high performance gaming and video editing. Since it seems like you're asking for a computer that will take on high task programs, I cannot recommend more to you the Alienware 18. It has not given me any performance problems whatsoever. I run all my games on high graphics and not once have I heard my fans come on. The only downside is it's size perhaps... it's very bulky, but that's because of it's internal fans that run silently inside. When I ordered this machine, I custom built it to the max. Slightly expensive yes, but it's going to last for many years. If you want performance, this is the machine for you.
Mac!!.. End of.. Does what it says on the label, just works and no reboots.. I leave my machine running for months on end without restarting, unheard of for windoze!!..
Paul mine is an Inspiron Intel Core2 Quad CPU 2.40 GHZ With 3 gigs of RAM It came with 2 GB but I added 1 more and in addition to the 350 GB hard drive internally I have a 1 TB and 3 TB external attached to it. 10 years old purrs like a kitten!
Stupid crappy windows touch screen has started playing up so now I'm getting ghost touches on the screen. Makes it completely unusable and have had to disable it, otherwise the mouse keep disappearing into the top left corner
