I'm looking for inspiration without filling the house up with more "stuff" so...
Slightly different to the Currently Reading thread - what's on your eReader / Kindle?
Maybe you're not reading them now but they're classics that you keep returning to? Or books that you wouldn't normally buy but they're cheap to download, or come in collections.
Here are some I've recently added:
The complete works of Mark Twain Complete works of William Shakespeare Frankenstein C/w of Bram Stoker C/w of Charles Dickens C/w of the Brothers Grimm
What I like about these is that it's only when I've downloaded them that I start to appreciate how many books each of these authors have written. There's no way I would want physical copies of all of these but I think they are "must reads".
i would say that i have around 200 books on the kindle with thousands more stored on my external hard drive . here is a concise list of what i have stored on the kindle
complete terry pratchett tolkien complete edgar allan poe complete oscar wilde various books on astronomy ,comparative religions , biographies , sport , the smiths/morrissey , history , politics fiction - horror , steampunk , historical fiction
ps this is not including the hundreds of books i have still to read , i still love reading physical books
hmmm. I have just bought a 2in1 tablet primary for scientific articles reading, but maybe I should look into some ebooks. I just LOVE books (the plan normal, papar versions), but have recently realised that I in no way have room for all the ones I would like to read......I need to find an other solution.
BTW, I really like your list!
The world is neither fair nor unfair - It's just us trying to feel that there's some sense in it

Just out of interest, have you paid for those books or "acquired" them? Personally, I love having the real Terry Pratchetts books, plus I have some Star Wars books, Bond and of course Tolkien.
i have acquired a lot from various places around the net but have bought equal amounts from amazon as well as downloaded loads of free books off amazon . like you have mentioned there paul , frankenstein was one . if you keep looking you'll find other horror classics as well as some classics like plato and other ancient philosophers as well as numerous other authors that include bronte , dickens , austen etc .
with terry pratchett i think i only need two or three books to finish my collection
I have a bunch of Ann Rule (True Crime). King Lear (my favorite Shakespeare). H.G Wells - War of the Worlds, Time Machine, Invisible Man. Tons of Stephen King. Douglas Adams' Ultimate Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Mark Tufo - Timothy. Bill Bryson - A Short History Of Nearly Everything.
I next want a biography on Elizabeth I...any suggestions?
Lots of good ideas there. Don't know what Sandman is but will investigate. I forgot about Bill Bryson. I love his books but they are also ones where I prefer the hard copy. H.G. Wells sound like a good idea too...
