Hello,

I have a 12" of Standing On A Beach that has a sticker on it that says it contains the (then) new 1986 remix of Boys Don't Cry - here's a link to it thecurerecords.com/record.aspx?id=1859

Does anyone know of a CD version (Standing On A Beach) that has the 1986 7" remix of Boys Don't Cry?

If you have a lead on Brisbane 21 August 1992 - CT version, for the love of Bob, let me know. Please!

I don't think, I've ever heard the 86 version.

I think it was supposed to "promote" the SOAB collection, as it was a 10year anniversary so it was weird that it never got on it.

Was strange that they chose the original.
I'm not quite the expert like some but isn't it the case that the 86 version has never been released on cd etc.

BDC '86 was only on 7" and 12". I have the 12" and it sounds completely different to the orginal and there's no way that is the one on SOAB.

If you follow that link in the first post, there is a scan of the inner sleeve, and it even says 1979 for BDC so the sticker on the outside it BS!
