Cranes are great! I have seen them live i guess three times, it was as a guest band of The Cure Would really like to go to a concert from them Hope they will be touring a bit more in Germany Yes, Alison has a beautiful voice, like an angel
I walk wondering why, the same dream so many times
I assume he asked them to Meltdown and they declined. Was great to see them supporting again in 2012 even though I was too starstruck to talk to Alison when I had the chance..

I had the pleasure to meet her after a gig of theirs. Lovely, down to earth. A cherished memory of mine.
Cranes are excited to announce they will be playing at the EartH Theatre (a beautiful 1930’s former cinema) in Hackney on Saturday October 14th. The concert, featuring the original line-up of the group (Alison Shaw, Jim Shaw, Mark Francombe and Matt Cope), is to mark the 30th anniversary of their 1993 album ‘Forever’ which they shall perform in full. It will be their first show together since 1995.
