I wonder if the Chelsea owners think American Football rules apply in England, they can substitute the entire defence or forward line whenever they want, then bring them all back on again?
Cole Palmer apparently signing a NINE year deal with Chelsea, insane.
I think that Darmesh fella on Sky Sports News just makes stories up, yesterday he tried to explain Chelsea's extra long contracts and how it makes sense, he said the on average a Premier league player earns £70k a month and this is what Chelsea are offering on 7 to 9 year contracts and also spreading the transfer cost over five years keeps Chelsea within the new financial rules. I don't see how anybody would thinks a player will be tempted by a 9 year deal at £70k per week for 9 years when they can probably sign a 4 year contract at vastly higher wages with the majority of Premier League clubs. Does he expect us to believe all these new Chelsea signings are on £70k per week?? Felix, Palmer, Fernandez etc etc are on £70k per week?? If Chelsea are stating they pay £70k per week then they must be using the same auditors as Manchester City, nobody will join Chelsea for that wage. It's just gibberish and makes absolutely no sense at all!!
I hope Sterling to Arsenal happens, he'd be perfect cover for both wings - and it's a move I touted when he left Manchester City so there's a chance I may finally get something right, in a roundabout way.
I can't believe Ivan Toney is going to Saudi Arabia, that kills his international career I think and can only be just for money. Yes the wages are astronomical in Saudi Arabia but he must be on decent wages anyway?
I can't believe The Premier League have fallen for Chelsea's latest exploit, their parent company, Blue Holdings, sold two hotels owned by Chelsea to another company owned by Blue Holdings, raising £76 million. Chelsea then used this £76 million to show they had not broken financial rules, the £76 million reduced their expenditure from approx £170 million to £85 million. The Premier League has decided that was a legit deal.
This weekend, I shall borrow £5 from Charlie and then give it back to her and say it's her pocket money.
Leicester escaping punishment is also bizarre, they were clearly in the wrong, it's odd Leicester were allowed to appeal but the Premier League can't, how is that fair? I know all these cases are wildly different, but, it seems even the loopholes in the rules have loopholes and clubs are finding them with ease.
I have no confidence that Manchester City will be found guilty of any offences.
My final word on the Rice incident, provided by Dermot ... .. . Fookin HYPOCRITE!!
I don't think anyone would be complaining if both players (In the Arsenal game) got a yellow...
I would!! Not booking Neto in the first half set a precedent, then later in the game, 18 minutes left - a Brighton player kicked the ball away and prevented Arsenal from taking a quick free kick, Kavanagh did nothing.
This is massively hilarious. Rice & Grealish, who both have played for The Republic of Ireland have scored England's first two goals against The Republic of Ireland. Rice even assisted the second 😂
