Sky Sports News have basically given Alonso the Liverpool job already, they don't report any real news, it's all guesswork.
This morning they were saying Arteta to Barca.
Yep, Arteta denied it straight away, hopefully the lure of Barcelona has diminished enough to deter him. Sky Sports News, unsurprisingly, trying to make it a big story! Van Dijk says he may follow Klopp out the door .....

Van Dijk is 32 so will probably go. Quite a few others have less than 18 months on their contracts...Mo, Trent

You'll get £150 million for Salah from some Saudi Arabian club, may be time to cash in.
Arsenal again criticised for celebrating a win, from Carragher especially, it's getting so boring! Every team, in every league, celebrates scoring goals and winning games, why is it only Arsenal are criticised?? Odegaard singled out for his celebration with Stuart, the club photographer, why?? Stuart won't give a fork, if Carragher dared say anything to his face he'd deck him!
Manchester United wanting to redevelop Old Trafford or build a new ground is hardly headline news, it's needed doing for 20 years, but hang on, they want the tax payer to pay for it?? They can fork right off, Arsenal paid for their new stadium and then went a decade selling their best players as they were paying off the stadium costs. I was going to say Tottenham were doing the same but Eric Dier doesn't count as any teams best player. If Manchester United want to redevelop or build new stadium, PAY FOR IT YOURSELVES!!
Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool and Everton will have to object to this if it's a real story and not just another media fairytale.
VAR was in use at the Villa v Chelsea replay, why didn't VAR intervene for Chelsea's third goal?? Enzo running with the ball, attempts a shot, misses the ball and falls over - free kick given and he scores ....
This is Emery all over though, decent first half of the season then the wheels come off, it happened at Arsenal also, unless Villa get their act together they'll slip out of the top four. Beating Manchester United would be a good start.
I actually think the new ground is a ploy by Ratcliffe, he knows full well the Government won't pay for it, but, it makes him look good to the fans. Does his small percentage even allow him to announce new stadium plans? But, I am now planning to build our own private pier and name it The Wembley Of The West and I fully expect the taxpayer to foot the bill.
